Karl Marx

Karl Marx was an economist and philosopher. He was born on May 5, 1818, in Trier, Kingdom of Prussia. His father’s name was Herschel Marx and his mother’s name was Henrietta. His father was a lawyer and his mother was a semi-literate Dutch Jew.

He studied privately until 1830 before enrolling at Bonn University. There he studied literature and philosophy. In 1841 he completed his dissertation on the difference between democracy and the Epicurean philosophy of nature. He emigrated to Cologne in 1842 and was a journalist in the radical newspaper ‘Rain’s Zeitung’. Marx left for Paris in October 1843 and became co-editor of the new radical newspaper. Carl Marx married Jennie on June 19, 1843; The couple had seven children. On August 28, 1844, he befriended Frederick Engels.


 His masterpiece Das Capital became a major publication of his research on political economy. Marx’s idea of ​​”political economy” came to be known later as Marxism. It is a perfect fusion of Hegelism, English economics, and French utopian socialism. He compiled all his ideas in the ‘Economic and Philosophical Manuscripts’ published in August 1844. ‘Worthworth!’ In 1845, Marx emigrated from Paris to Brussels with his friend Engels. During a brief visit to England, they wrote the book ‘German Ideology’ to visit the Chartist leaders of a local socialist movement. During this period he also wrote The Philosophy of Poverty, published in 1847.

He joins a radical organization called Angular Association with Angular Association. Ultimately, the League’s members were convinced, and by 1847 it had become an official political party known as the Communist League. All of Engels’s books have been prepared for his most important political paper, the Communist Manifesto, published in 1848. The manifesto suggested the abolition of capitalist society with socialism.

Marx’s role in the Revolutionary Working Class

In the same year, Europe saw a series of upheavals as a result of the new Communist movement known as the Revolution of 1848. During this time he had to return to France. After arriving in France in 1848, he moved to the Communist League headquarters in Paris and established an additional German Walkers Club for many German socialists living in the city.

He soon began to publish a daily newspaper called Neue Rheinische Zeitung. William VI ordered anti-revolutionary measures, and Marx’s paper suppressed as a counterweight, and on 16 May 1849. Marx has asked to leave the country. He then moved to London and made it his home for the rest of his life. He resigned on September 17, 1850, after a conflict with the Guild members of the Socialist German Workers Guild, an education society. Marx committed to reorganizing the revolutionary working class in spite of his family’s poverty. He worked as a reporter for the New York Daily Tribune. He soon started writing for a source of income.

In 1863, Marx left the New York Tribune and in 1864 joined the “International Labor Union”, Louisiana Knapp. In response to this bloody uprising, he composed the ‘War in France’ to protect the people. He died in London, England, on March 14, 1883, aged 64 years. Karl Marx said that the meaning of peace is not opposed to socialism.
